Andrew Goodman joining the PNMW speakers

Prof. Andrew Goodman has joined the Prague Negotiation and Mediation Week speakers. He is going to give a workshop on mediation and negotiation advocacy skills that is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

Prof. Goodman’s lecture is kindly supported by AMATI and SCMA.

Prof. Andrew Goodman is a barrister, CEDR Mediator and IMI mediation advocate. He has been an arbitrator since 1988, a CEDR mediator since 1993 and works in that capacity and as a mediation advocate, trainer, advisor and consultant to governments, judiciaries, Bars and companies. Andrew is widely recognized as a thought leader in the field of mediation through his writing and lectures.

He is currently a visiting mediation and dispute management trainer to the Hong Kong, Nepal, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir Bar Associations and the Judicial Academy of the Nepal Supreme Court, the Nepal International ADR Centre, the Thailand Arbitration Centre, and the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. He is an advisor on mediation to the Turkish Court of Cassation and the High Council of Justice in Brussels.

Andrew is a senior mediator at the Joint Mainland-Hong Kong Mediation Centre; the Nepal International ADR Centre; the A+ ADR Centre, Ankara, the Oakwell Mediation Centre, Lagos and the Thailand Arbitration Centre; he is a Senior International Mediation Expert (SIME) of the International Dispute Resolution & Risk Management Institute (PRC). His areas of professional practice extend to commercial, property, construction, oil and gas, partnership, franchising, professional negligence and farming disputes.

PNMW Edition 2018

From May 21-25, 2018, the first edition of the Prague Negotiation and Mediation Week took place in Prague, Czech Republic. It welcomed ADR professionals and enthusiasts from eleven different countries from all around the globe.

This challenging series of lectures, workshops and interactive role-plays was supplemented with pleasant social  programme such as a wine-tasting, cocktail accompanied by drypoint-print  demonstration in the Art Francesco Gallery and a historical tram tour.

As  weather met the expectations, the participants were able to profit from the terrace in the area surrounding the conference room not only to enjoy their coffee breaks but also to carrying out the mock negotiations and mediations.
